Coronado Ranch has been built out neighborhood by neighborhood by several builders, including American West, Astoria, Carina Homes and Pacific Southwest Development. American West alone has built multiple neighborhoods here, among them Reserve at Coronado Ranch, which opened in 2010, and Rainbow Crossing Elite, which opened in 2019. Pinnacle Peaks, a gated neighborhood, was built in 2004.
Location and getting around
The Review-Journal describes Coronado Ranch as being in the southwest valley, minutes from the 215 Beltway and the airport. From the Beltway, exit south on Rainbow Boulevard; neighborhood entrances are off Wigwam Avenue and Ford Avenue. The Coronado Ranch 5 neighborhood sits off Torrey Pines Drive next to the 215, and The Resort at Coronado Ranch is on Jones Boulevard just south of Robindale Road.
